Latest News: 2013
Brain Injury Awareness Week is 13 - 17th May 2013, there are two key conferences in Cardiff and Swansea - we will have a presence at both. On 14th May, Dr. Ryan-Morgan is co-running a conference in Bristol on (neuropsychological) Assessments in Family Law Proceedings. It's good to network and keep abreast of issues.
Dr. Ryan-Morgan has recently published 'Assessment of Mental Capacity' as a joint book chapter in
Practical Neuropsychological Rehabilitation in Acquired Brain Injury: A guide for Working Clinicians. The Official Book Launch is on Friday 12th April 2013.
The ACE-Mobile (computerised) Dementia Assessment is being launched, with free access, in June 2013. For more information go to: www.acemobile.org
Dr. Kerry-Ann Holder has recently been appointed to the post of Principal Clinical Psychologist in Paediatric Oncology at the University Hospital of Wales. The post will involve work in paediatric neuropsychology.
Dr. Holder will be taking up her new position in late Spring 2013.
