Dr Zoe Fisher is a clinical psychologist with a special interest in the area of neuropsychology. Prior to clinical training she completed a Ph.D in neuropsychology looking at the effects of prisms adaptation on unilateral spatial neglect. Her clinical and research interests concern rehabilitation after acquired brain injury.

Dr. Tracey Ryan-Morgan: Clinical DirectorDr. Tracey Ryan-Morgan: Clinical Director
Dr. Tracey Ryan-Morgan is a Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist who is Chartered by the British Psychological Society (B.P.S.) and registered with the Health Professions Council. She is an Associate Fellow of the B.P.S. Tracey has been an Assessor for the Clinical Neuropsychology Qualifications Board of the Division of Neuropsychology and is experienced in convening and conducting BPS accreditations of Doctoral and post-Doctoral training courses. She is currently treasurer of Headway Carmarthenshire.

Dr Ryan-Morgan has been appointed as the Registrar and Chief Supervisor to the Clinical Neuropsychology Qualifications Board of the British Psychological Society. This Board oversees the examination processes for post-doctoral candidates registered for the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology. The appointment is from September 2011.

Dr. Ryan-Morgan is a member of a national Cross-Committee Working Party to produce a profile of competencies in Clinical Neuropsychology for the British Psychological Society within the context of Statutory Regulation of the profession.

In her NHS practice, Dr. Ryan-Morgan was Head of Specialty for Clinical Neuropsychology and Deputy Head of Clinical Psychology. Dr. Ryan-Morgan left the NHS to further develop her private practice in July 2006, after 15 years experience. In the summer of 2008, she provided locum sessions with Neurosciences services at the University Hospital of Wales, at the request of the Clinical Director of Neuropsychiatry. Dr. Ryan-Morgan retains a Consultant Contract with BMI Hospitals.

In December of 2008, Dr. Ryan-Morgan taught the adult CBT module on the MSc in Clinical and Abnormal Psychology at University Swansea. Dr. Ryan-Morgan is Chair of the Wales Neuropsychology Special Interest Group. Dr. Ryan-Morgan has undertaken Television work with BBC Science and the Discovery Channel.
Recent CPD
Between September 21-22nd, Drs Ryan-Morgan and Holder attended the biannual Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust conference at the Bristol Marriott Hotel. The focus was Inspiring Learning and Innovation through Brain Injury Rehabilitation

On October 13th, Drs. Ryan-Morgan and Holder attended a one-day conference organised by St. Andrews Healthcare (National Brain Injury Centre) at the Birmingham Metropole on the subject of Risk and Acquired Brain Injury

On November 8th, Dr. Ryan-Morgan is the invited speaker at the Swansea Medicolegal Society on the topic of Community-Based Neuropsychological Rehabilitation. Also on November 8th, Dr. Holder will be attending the Hugh James Spinal Injury Conference in Cardiff.

On November 11th, Drs. Ryan-Morgan and Smith will be attending the Annual Bond Solon Expert Witness Conference in London and on November 17th, Drs. Ryan-Morgan and Holder will be attending the St. John’s Chambers Brain Injury Conference in Bristol.

Dr. Sarah Morgan-Collier, who joined the company in January 2008, is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who divides her time between clinical duties with Talis Consulting Limited and the NHS.

Dr. Morgan-Collier trained in Bangor and has been the lead Clinical Psychologist for the provision of services to Older Adults for Neath, Port Talbot and Bridgend for seven years.

Dr. Morgan-Collier has been active in the teaching, training and supervision of Clinical Psychologists for many years and retains a keen interest in staff training around behaviours which challenge, particularly in care settings.

Dr. Kerry-Ann Holder, who trained in Cardiff, is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who shares her work time between private practice with Talis Consulting Limited and the NHS. She has extensive experience of providing psychological services to individuals with behaviours which challenge and retains a special interest in Clinical Neuropsychology.

Dr. Holder has undertaken the Glasgow University Post-graduate Diploma in Clinical completed the and is shortly to register for the QiCN with the BPS.

Dr. Alyson Smith: Chartered Clinical PsychologistDr. Alyson Smith: Chartered Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Alyson Smith is a HPC registered, Chartered Clinical Psychologist specialising in addictive behaviours and substance dependence. She has over ten years of clinical (NHS) and research experience in this field. She has worked within the NHS offering assessments and psychological interventions to individuals with a range of drug/alcohol dependence issues, audit and service evaluation, supervision and specialist training (e.g. psychosocial interventions). She now divides her time between private clinical practice (Cardiff and Carmarthen) and a senior lectureship at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff.

She is treasurer of the British Psychological Society's Faculty of Addiction, reviews journal articles for the Jounal of Substance Use and grant proposals for the Alcohol Education and Research Council. She has been an invited speaker at a number of national conferences in the field of substance use and has a track record of peer reviewed publications in the field.

Dr Zoe Fisher is a clinical psychologist with a special interest in the area of neuropsychology. Prior to clinical training she completed a Ph.D in neuropsychology looking at the effects of prisms adaptation on unilateral spatial neglect. Her clinical and research interests concern rehabilitation after acquired brain injury.

As of early 2011, Dr. Fisher has two new exciting part-time roles which complement her work at Talis Consulting:
  1. As a Clinical Psychologist employed by the Division of Neuropsychology on a year long project to assist in the development of a competency framework for the profession of Clinical Neuropsychology in the U.K. Dr. Ryan-Morgan sits on the working party which directs Dr. Fisher's work.
  2. As a Clinical Psychologist in Older Adult Services for the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Trust
