At the heart of Talis Consulting is a strong ethic to 'give back' to both our profession and local community

What we give

At the heart of Talis Consulting is a strong ethic to 'give back' to both to our profession and local community.

We do all that we can to support our profession and local services. For example, Dr. Ryan-Morgan offered one unpaid clinical session per month for six months to the Stroke Ward at Withybush Hospital to establish Neuropsychology input to the ward.

We support aspiring Psychologists by regularly providing mentoring and work experience placements to a small number of 'A' level pupils, undergraduate students and Assistant Psychologists from the area who aspire to a career in Clinical or Neuropsychology. We are have worked with Cardiff and Bath Universities in planning to provide a year long placement to their third year undergraduate programme.

Dr. Holder mentors a number of Assistant Psychologists throughout their applications to train in Clinical Psychology and is registered with the British Psychological Society's Directory of Volunteer Speakers.

Dr. Ryan-Morgan spends a two sessions per week carrying out duties as Registrar and Chief Supervisor of the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology for the Division of Neuropsychology.

In terms of extra-curricular activities, we support charities by collecting and submitting used stamps and toner cartridges for sale to raise funds, which has benefitted the Wales Air Ambulance. Dr Kerry-Ann Holder is the South Wales Representative for WAY (Widowed & Young).

Dr. Tracey Ryan-Morgan has entered both the Cardiff and Llanelli Half marathons to raise money for local charities. Tracey successfully completed the Llanelli Half Marathon in 2016 and raised £630 for the Wales Air Ambulance.

Josh Stacey of Stokes Case Management is raising money for Tenovus Cancer Care. Talis Consulting Limited is supporting Josh –
please donate if you can, even the smallest amount is welcome!
